Make a List

Organize. Organize. Organize. Plan out how you want to pack each room. Let us know ahead of time what you might need disassembled and reassembled. Also, let us know ahead of time if you need anything installed or taken off your walls (brackets etc)



Have Plenty of Supplies

It would be horrible to run out of boxes on moving day. Make sure you know exactly how many you need and buy a little extra just in case. We offer boxes for an additional price with all our moves.



Utilize Wardrobe Boxes

Roll your clothing so that it fits tighter in all of your dresser drawers. You will be surprised how much room is saved when you roll the clothing. It saves you on boxes and money also.



Communicate with Your Movers

Know exactly what time we will be showing up to start the move. Be packed unless we are packing for you. Packing is a long tedious process and if you don't get a head start on it you could have a bunch of movers sitting around doing nothing. Know the plan. What time are goal is to have the truck in route to the next location so that we don't fall behind schedule. If you need to add an additional service please make sure you have communicated that ahead of time and so that nothing is sprung on us.



Pack your Boxes Properly

Without doing this properly the day could be a disaster!! Pack your boxes tightly and securely. Don't leave any air pockets.Save money and save room. Make sure that there is no empty spaces in the boxes. Put the heavy items in the bottom of the box and the lighter objects in the top of the box. Don't overfill the box with extra heavy objects as the box might break. Tape and double tape the boxes really tight so they don't fall threw. Label all your boxes with what room they are going into so that when the movers arrive at the destination they can go directly to that room and make the transition easy.
